Many people dream of going south in winter, but few go in the opposite direction. The film narrates the fascionation of the unfamiliar, about snow falling in the Arctic and the sun on the Mediterranean beaches. Two young girls go the Artic Circle to enjoy one of the most extraordinary natural phenomena that can be observed in the high atmosphere: the northern light. The aurora borealis usually displays rays, arcs, flickering frost-white beams and ever-changing hues.
