Thirteen year old David Lama is already a remarkable climber. The son of a Nepalese Sherpa and Austrian mother, he is one of the youngest talents of thios sport and, in the near future, he will certainly be a star of climbing magazines around Europe. Peter Habeler, his trainer, discovered David’ s great ability when he was only seven years old. In March 2003, at the age of twelve, he was the youngest climber to scale in redpoint style a 8b+, the Halebopp route in Arco di Trento. His next project is the 9° Underground route in Masone di Arco ‘Trento).
The film shows how, despite his unquestionable gift, the boy continues to live a normal childhood and enjoy climbing with friends of the same age.
