For the whole of his life Alex Bellini has tried to overcome the limits imposed by nature on human beings. He has rowed across the Mediterranean and the Atlantic and Pacific oceans on a 6-metre boat. He has run 5400 km from Los Angeles to New York. He is the first person to have crossed Europe’s greatest glacier. Alex’s feats are the result of sacrifice, resistance, resilience and curiosity, but also of profoundly spiritual qualities that have saved him in times of greatest difficulty.
