LES PILIERS DU REVE
France / 1987 / 24'
Enormous steep rocks, that look like the remains of an epic clash between giants, rise out of the Tessaglian plateau, a place that is famous in ancient Greek history. In this mystic environment years ago the Meteors were the retreat of hermits and strict orders of monks who, abandoning the world, lived in the celestial peace of these peaks. This territory today is a quiet and marvellous place for climbing and some caves cut in the steep walls are unapproachable. The climbers Patrick Berhault and Patrick Cordier set out to climb these peaks full of history.
