Simone Pedeferri is one of the best known and most accomplished Italian sportsmen. A versatile mountaineer of great talent, he free climbed the “Socially Useless” route on the Pesgunfi wall above Sasso Remenno inVal Masino. In this film Pedeferri explores the new trends in climbing and reaps a free climb of his steep route on the Masino granite, with difficulty up to 8a+ and graded E7 in the scale of risk. A hazardous game for the few, with the possibility of a “hinge effect” in the case of a fall. An enthralling feat that totally envelops the climber in rocks and nature.
Andrea Frigerio, a director and director of photography from Milan, is enthusiastic about sports footage and documentaries on adventure and the alpine culture, due to his passion for climbing and mountaineering. He has competed at Trento Film Festival several times, winning the Silver Gentian in 2004 for “Socialmente Inutile”.
