The “differently able” Gianfranco Corradini (he lost one leg in a motorbike accident) has always loved mountains and has already made unbelievable ascents on Mont Blanc and the North face of Presanella, to mention just a few, with the aid of special crutches and high-tech prosthesis made especially for him at the INAIL Prosthesis Centre of Vigorso di Budrio (BO). In constant search for new challenges, Gianfranco has a secret wish: the Andean mountains in Peru. His dream comes true thanks to his strong will and the help of the alpine guide Roberto Daz and the other member of the expedition, when he discovers the fascinating Peruvian valleys of Alpamayo, to a height of 5,947metres, the peak that is the symbol of Peru.
