Voyage au bout de l'Hiver

Anne Lapied, Erik Lapied

France / 2010 / 76'

NATURA DOC

The mountain had never seemed so powerful to Anne and Erik Lapied. That winter they learnt the greatest lesson of humility of their lives. Everything began in September, when the footpaths are abandoned and Autumn fills the woods with colour and fragrance in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park. Then suddenly on an October day, the first snowfall caught them unexpectedly while they were filming a fox at an altitude of 2500 metres. From that day on the couple documented the behaviour of chamois, ibex, eagles and other wild animals in the heart of winter.
