In the footsteps of Patrick Berhault, for a long time Franco Nicolini has pursued the dream of linking all the 82 peaks more than four thousand metres high in the Alps. Together with Diego Giovannini, Nicolini succeeds in the enterprise in 60 days, travelling on foot, on skis and by bicycle. New objectives bring back mountaineering to the Alps.
After his early days in the television service, covering sports events and fiction programmes for the main Italian channels, he produced "Tuttomontagna", a programme for pay TV with Enrico Zampini, in addition to numerous other documentaries dedicated to nature, tourism and outdoor pursuits for channels dedicated to specific themes. He produced "Le Flame del Paradis" and "Esplosioni di un artista” for the director Luciano Emmer ". He dealt with the coordination and text of the documentary "Il Futuro corre sul filo" dedicated to the world of cable lift systems.
