Strangers on the Earth

The Camino de Santiago is undoubtedly Europe’s most famous pilgrimage, attracting people from all over the world in search of an experience of profound spiritual meaning. Strangers on the Earth recounts the journey of a number of pilgrims, such as Dane Johansen, an American cellist, who in 2014 completed the whole walk, accompanied by his instrument and the music of J. S. Bach.
He began his career directing and editing several short films. Thanks to his training in performing arts, he has worked with the Emerson String Quartet, the Chamber Music Society of the Lincoln Center and the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.
