The life story of the climbing couple Nives Meroi and Romano Benet. Husband and wife, they have climbed all 14 eight thousand metre mountains on the planet without the use of oxygen cylinders or mountain porters. Their “fifteenth eight-thousander” was the serious illness of Romano, overcome thanks to two transplants. The mountains are an excellent teacher and offer the tools to deal with life.
