Pellegrino is the story of a place where the sacred and the profane, nature and history coexist, exercising a strong appeal. The film follows in the footsteps of its visitors, coming across artists, nomads, naturalists, alchemists and pilgrims, who find an obsession, a reason for passing through or the outline of an answer in the mountain, from necessity or reason. A reflection on the sense of living with nature and the intimate relationship that can be established between people and places.
