Maria Walcher, a South Tyrolean artist, leaves in spring 2018 with her VW van and travels to the most remote places in South Tyrol. On the squares of these villages she sets up a mobile tailor's shop, in which everyone is invited to participate, in an intercultural exchange between tailors, local weavers, artists from various parts of the world and simple passers-by.
After graduating in Communication Sciences, she attended the "Doc ut Des" course at the Festival dei Popoli and the "Postgraduate - Working as a documentary" course at the Zelig film school. She has collaborated with director Costanza Quatriglio, with the association Chambra d'Oc, with Mediaart Production Coop. She collaborates with the artist Hannes Egger, the production company Miramonte and IDM Südtirol Alto Adige.
