Casablanca, inviting yet unforgiving: four souls in search of truth. Decades earlier, a passionate teacher in the Atlas Mountains is put to silence: through the echo of his shattered dreams, their disillusions embody the sparksthat will light up the city in flames.
He is a member of the Oscars, the French Film Academy, and sits on the board of the Arab Film Academy. He is the founder of Ali n’ Productions and of the Ali Zaoua Foundation. Among his films, Ali Zaoua (2000), Whatever Lola Wants (2008), the awarded Horses of God and Much Loved. Razzia debuted at the Platform Competition of the 2017 Toronto International Films Festival.
