Tom Ballard lives in a camper van together with his elderly father James. His mother, the famous climber Alison Hargreaves, lost her life coming down K2 when Tom was only 6 years old and since then the boy has pursued the dream of becoming a mountaineer and of climbing the six great north faces of the Alps in a single winter. Nobody has yet managed to do so with this timescale and he wishes to become the first. Accompanied by his father, who drives a white van, Tom will face any risk in order to fulfill his dream.

Angel Esteban
Madrid 1976. After studying directing and cinematography, he immediately began working as an operator and director of photography. He soon became passionate about the editing process, a role he played in all of his productions. At the same time he develops a close collaboration with scenic proposals, investigating interdisciplinary narratives related to music, theater and performing arts. In 2010 he produced and directed his first feature-length documentary "One minute for Conductors", world premiere at IDFA 2013, together with his partner Elena Goatelli. Since then they have produced and directed "TOM" (2015), "Auspicio" (2019), "Malditos" (2020), co-produced with Altrove films and "My Upside Down World" (2021) a production of Albolina films.
Elena Goatelli
Bolzano 1975. After studying Foreign Languages and Literatures in Venice, he moved to Madrid and landed at the documentary department of CANAL + where he took his first steps. She started also to collaborate with independent directors outside the television sector. In 2012 he directed her first documentary "Endometriosis, the tip of the iceberg" for Spanish public television. In 2013 "One minute for conductors”, directed and produced together with her partner Angel Esteban, was presented as world premiere at the IDFA. Since then they have directed and produced "TOM" (2015), "Auspicio" (2019), "Malditos" (2020), co-produced with Altrove films and "My Upside Down World" (2021) a production of Albolina films.
