GRADI. IL VINO ITALIANO AI TEMPI DEL CAMBIAMENTO CLIMATICO
After showing of the documentary, there will be an exchange of ideas among experts: discussion with Giuliano Bassetto (authour of the reportage - Will Media), Silvano Clementi (vine-grower in Trentino and researcher at Fondazione E. Mach), Pietro Monti (vine-grower in Piemonte and Vice-President of FIVI) and Marco Stefanini (head of the Grapevine Physiology and Genetic Improvement Unit at Fondazione E. Mach).
“Gradi” is a report produced by Will Media in cooperation with FIVI – Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti - which shows how Italian vine-growers are dealing with the challenges of climate change through adaptation and mitigation. In the context of climate change, we can indeed consider the world of wine to be a genuine “sentinel”: a sensitive agricultural context that can tell us much not only about viticulture, but more generally about what is happening to the planet, if observed closely. By listening to winemakers, “Gradi” focuses on possible ways out, avoiding simplistic solutions.
