On 23 August 2023, the Vaia dragon created at Lavarone by sculptor Marco Martalar was destroyed in an arson attack. The guilty party was known. The before and after of the story is today recounted in the film Nella pelle del drago, offering an opportunity to meet the director Katia Bernardi, along with the artist.
