While the conflict between the French and British rages in Canada, the natives also settle their own scores, the Hurons allies of the former, various Iroquois tribes allied instead with the latter. Hawkeye, a white man raised by the Mohicans, Uncas and Chingachgook try to save Colonel Munro's daughters from Magua of the Hurons, who is seeking revenge. This the first film version of the 1826 novel by James Fenimore Cooper. Silent movie with live musical accompaniment.
