What are the prospects for wines made with resistant vine varieties?

The production regulations for wines with a registered designation of origin do not allow wines made with grapes from resistant vines to be given the DOC designation, despite the fact that consumers are in general increasingly attentive to issues regarding the sustainability of agricultural products.
