50 years after its release in cinemas, Trento Film Festival pays tribute to one of the greatest literary and film mountaineering thrillers: The Eiger Sanction. Based on the novel by Trevanian, Rodney Whitaker's pen name, the film was directed by and starred Clint Eastwood, who did not resort to stuntmen for the climbing scenes.
