LUIGI BONAZZA, ON THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS DEATH. TRENTO, THE MOUNTAINS AND ARTISTS FROM HIS CIRCLE

The exhibition recalls the painter Luigi Bonazza sixty years after his death, recounting the bond with the city of Trento after his return from Vienna in 1912: his friends in the artists’ association, the relationship with climbing clubs, the legendary mountains and the landscape. The works on display show his maturity following his training in Viena in the midst of secession, irredentist influences, the relationships with SAT and SOSAT, the setting up of the Circolo Artistico Trentino, of which he was the first president, and the beauty of his chosen landscapes: the city of Trento, Bosentino, Mount Fravort and Lake Caldonazzo.
