It is a strange and tragic story. In Nespello, a small cluster of houses in the Bergamo mountains, Giancarlo, a 12-year-old boy who had been missing for several days, was found hanging from a tree not far from his home in late December 1957. The suicide theory was immediately accepted. In 1957 Gigi Brozzoni was eight years old and he has always been obsessed with Giancarlo's death, convinced that Nespello was abandoned shortly afterwards due to the boy's death.

Alberto Valtellina
He trained as a photographer and filmmaker in the early 1980s, then worked with a small production and distribution company until the beginning of 2018, when Produzioni Alberto Valtellina was founded. Since then he has made more than a dozen documentary films.
