Devastated by the death of his father and a present overshadowed by meaninglessness and melancholy, a young man decides to rid himself of his belongings and embark on a journey to Iceland. Enchanted by its music, its people, and the mysticism of the landscape, he gradually rediscovers his lost joy, his connection to others, to community, nature, and ultimately, love. An adventure in search of belonging, all set against the captivating backdrop and music of Iceland.

Leandro Cerro
Leandro Cerro was born in Buenos Aires in 1988. He studied Film Direction at the Universidad del Cine (UCINE). He worked as an editor for 10 years. He currently directs the course in "Cinema and New Audiovisual Formats" at the Da Vinci Multimedia Art School. ISLANDIA is his first feature film.
