Summer 2016, an artist sets up his equipment at La Pilatte in the Oisans massif to paint a portrait of its glacier. In reality, he's going to paint the portrait of Angelo, an imaginary mountaineer, and his granddaughter Piera, a glaciologist on a quest to find her mysteriously disappeared grandfather. Six years later, the artist sets off in the footsteps of another, very real, character.

Christophe Galleron
Born in 1970 in the French Alps, Christophe Galleron is a visual artist who has been making short films since 2004. He has directed animation films (Angelo, Epissure, Le Col, La Balade de No Buru), many music and art videos. The artist’s work focuses on the place of the human being in a complex and changing world.
