In a secluded hotel in the Andean Cordillera high above Santiago del Cile, a summit is being held involving Latin American heads of state and destined to influence the energy future of the entire area. Argentine President Hernán Blanco arrives at the meeting with two problems on his mind. On the one hand, there is the risk that his former son-in-law will set off a scandal over covert financing for his political party. On the other, major maneuvers are underway for or against entry by the USA into the agreement.
