Marco Paolini's “Mar de Molada” show explores the link between water and the local area, recounting hydrological and geological transformation in the Veneto region. Paolini interweaves storytelling, science and poetry in four outdoor touring performances, from the Marmolada to the Adriatic Sea, to raise awareness of the urgency of sustainable management of water resources. The documentary film follows the artistic development of the show, interweaving theatrical narrative and reality, focusing on the relationship between territory, theatre and civic conscience that has always been at the heart of Paolini's work.
