Corona’s rebellious youth, his difficult relationship with his parents, vices, patient art of writing, uncontainable passion for rock and peaks, and the melancholy of Erto, a small village in the mountains of Friuli, a short distance from Vajont and its tragedy. The portrait emerging from this meticulously observed documentary, with many inspiring literary quotes read by Giancarlo Giannini, offers a candid and undisguised picture of the man and artist. With biting commentary, but far from his role as a TV presenter, Mauro also tells the story of his life through conversations with his close friends Piero Pelù, Erri De Luca and Davide Van De Sfroos.
