Thirty years after a first life-changing journey to the east coast of Greenland when he was a child, former snowboarding champion Mathieu Crepel retraces his own steps. As he searches for his memories and the characters of his childhood dreams, he will face the sometimes-harsh reality of Greenlandic youth, torn between survival in the wilderness and the appeal of modernity.

Walid Berrissoul
Senior reporter and filmmaker, Walid Berrissoul, 39, has produced several geopolitical documentaries for France Télévisions. He is also collaborating with Mathieu Crepel on film projects set in nature, from the Pyrenean glaciers to Greenland.
