In the near future, a time of crisis and transformation, humans have changed their ways of living, mythologies and rituals. In this world there exist Interspecies Diplomacies: diplomatic hierarchies spread through cenacles, which welcome and train diplomats and diplomats from early childhood. The film explores the complexity of relationships between human and other-than-human (whether animal, plant, microbial or inorganic), using the concept of Interspecies Diplomacies as a magnifying glass.

Mali Weil is the collective identity of Elisa Di Liberato, Lorenzo Facchinelli and Mara Ferrieri. They carry out projects ranging from relational performance to audiovisual formats and design. They live and work between Trento, Milan and Berlin.
