This documentary is about six women who have chosen a particular meaningful path in life. They are mountain refuge managers, extraordinary women who have chosen to live and work at high altitude, in an environment at times characterised by unfavourable conditions, seeking their place in the world with strength and determination. Through their commitment and dedication, they have become the custodians of these magnificent places, showing the force and courage of women in a role traditionally associated with men.

Giorgia Lazzarini
She studied at the Accademia Nazionale del Cinema in Bologna, specialising in DOP and video editing. After moving to Milan, she worked as a video-maker for commercials, video clips, short films and feature films.
