On the Franco-Italian border, a tunnel boring machine cuts through the mountain, drying up streams and fountains in its path. TRANSALPIN is a descent from the snow-capped peaks to the valleys where the anger of the villages echoes, fighting against the Turin-Lyon high-speed-train construction sites.
