In rural Trentino at the beginning of the 20th century, the lives of Vanni and Agnese are turned upside down by the arrival of Luzia, a young woman scarred by abuse. She claims to be a victim of the Mazaròl, a creature of folklore who kidnaps women in the woods. Agnese begins to see disturbing parallels between Luzia's story and her own life.

Juri Ferri
Born and raised in the province of Bergamo, Juri Ferri studied in the Netherlands before moving to the United Kingdom, where he obtained a master's degree from London Film School. His most recent short film, L'OLANDESA premiered in 2024 at Rome Independent Film Festival and is currently on the festival circuit.
