The Devil's Throne is an inaccessible peak that has never been successfully climbed.
The team of local mountaineers, made up of two men and a woman (played by Catalan climber María Antonia Simó), after a first failed and accidental attempt, will make a second attempt trying to overcome the foreign teams claiming the same summit.
The film, set in the Montserrat massif (the Devil's Throne is actually the Trencabarrals Needle), was shot with very few 8mm media by Francesc Comas, amateur director and member of the Hiking Center of Catalonia (CEC), between 1942 and 1943, in the Spanish postwar period.
