A documentary shot in Stromboli. The first part is dedicated to the life of the islanders: fishing, crafts, small businesses. The film then follows the exploration of a volcanologist to the edge of the active crater. At night, the jets of incandescent lapilli, in the halo of sudden flames, are like fireworks.
