KILIMANDJARO, MONARCA AFRICANO

Italy / 1960 / 32'
In the spirit of a "mountaineering safari," four Italians fly to Nairobi, Kenya's capital and a must-visit base for both hunters from large reserves and climbers of Africa's great mountains. Crossing the land of the Maasai, rich in game, they, precisely, climb in four days to the summit of Kibo, the extinct crater that, at 5895 meters, represents the highest point on Kilimandjaro and in all of Africa. Having completed their descent in two days, they finally enter Serengeti National Park, inside the vast crater of Ngorongoro.
