Two young people - one Polish, the other Slovak - traverse a few days of early autumn in the High Tetras ( whose highest peak touches 2663 m), first on the slope that belongs to Poland, then on the slope that awaits Czechoslovakia; they admire the warm beauty of the changing landscape, the flora, the fauna, and climb a rock of a typical granite: silver-gray.
