One of the largest birds of prey in the vulture genus is the Griffon Vulture, a rare inhabitant of the Mediterranean coasts and some islands. From the southeastern Adriatic coast, it ranges through Herzegovina and Montenegro, all the way to Macedonia. In this environment, the film portrays the most salient stages of the Griffon Vulture's life, its morphological characteristics, its acclimation environment, its breeding, and the raising of its young.
