This film, shot by a Bolzano journalist, describes the difficulties faced by countless children in South Tyrol in attending school regularly.
In San Martino di Laces, Solda, San Pietro di Valle Aurina, Resia, Curon Venosta, etc., small mountain villages where winter typically lasts seven months a year and temperatures often reach -30°C (-30°F), school life continues as normal.
Despite this hardship, the illiteracy rate in the province of Bolzano is the lowest in Italy.
