The documentary film was shot in Koubatchi, a mountain village located 1,500 meters above sea level in the heart of the Caucasus. It illustrates the thriving and distinctive local craftsmanship, which in many cases reaches the level of a true art form. In ancient times, the inhabitants of Koubatchi, due to their skill in metalwork, were known as armorers; today, they are called engravers.
