Only two Himalayan peak were still to conquest: Gasherbrun Mount and Khiangyang Mount, both 8000 metres high. The 26 August 1971, a Polish expedition formed by 13 alpinists from the Polish Alpine Club succeed, after enormous efforts, to climb the Khiangyang Kish. The last sequences of the movie are confused and blurred because of a problem of the camera. In this task the alpinist Jas Franczuk died, so his mates decided to dedicate the entire task to his memory.
