FOREST UNDER SIEGE

Canada / 1977 / 20'
This film tells the story of a forest that is slowly being munched away. Looping, gnawling crawling and flying legions of insects attack an area of one million and a quarter square miles. This film shows the devastation, its causes and the many ways in which the Canadian Forestry Service, with the help of the provincial governments, is countering this vast attack.
