Jean Marc Boivin, Patrick Gabarrou and Patrick Vallençant achieved three of the most difficut ascent along the frozen paths of the Alps which included two "firsts". One of these ventures carried out by Boivin and Gabarrou, is the ascent of the north face of Aiguille Verte. The second climb was made by Boivin and Vallençant along the north face of Pilier d'Angle going along the Cecchinel-Nominé way. The third ascent, the most difficult and exacting of the three, was done for the first time along the noth face of Droites, which took Boivin and Gabarrou three days.
