Among the course of the river Indus, hidden among the western hHimalayan peaks, there is the small country of Ladak, also called "little Tibet". The country still shows at each turn its attachment to Buddhism in religion, art and literature. Unfortunately this culture is dying since the occupation of Tibet has cut Ladak off from its roots.
