Verra, which means "a camp on the hillside" in Ladin, is the highest human settlement in Trentino and is situated in the upper Val di Fassa. Out of the 30 people who lived there at the beginning of the century, today only Liz is left. The film follows the last inhabitant of the village throughout an entire year, relating the culture, symbolic-mythologic references and rituals. It is probably the last example of the task that were once common to the whole community.
