This is a documentary of the salt mine in Wieliczka which is protected internationally and is registered at Unesco as one of the most valuable past monuments of the world. The film describes the present condition of the mine and also traces its history and shows its beauties among which the interior of the cathedral with altar and statue carved in rock-salt is particularly remarkable.
