More than an extremely daring feat, this film is about a human story in which a great extreme skier, André Anzévui, in practise, fights against himself. He carries out a venture at the limit of human possibility which takes him to the summit of Dent Blanche, from where he skiis down slopes of 45 to 60 degrees. Anzévui's philsophy is simple: when you are born, he says, in a village clinging to the mountain and when you are attached to your own valley, the rocks are friends that have to be courted.
