Six Roman canoeists, with three film photoreporters, decided to confront the inviolate rapids of Rio Urubamba, the sacred river of the Incas, which, below Machu-Pichu fortress, breaks into an impetuous stream of thirty km. When the waters calm down in the forest, the young people move south, crossing the Cordigliera to Rio Colca. Here the river has made the deepest canyon on earth. With four kayaks and a dingby they go along the most exciting part in an unusual environment.
