Bern Klinger, nicknamed Buck, works for an insurance company in Coburg. His hobby, however, is hang-gliding. When he meets the journalist Rita he tells her about his dream: to fly from Mount Palomani in Bolivia over the forest. So far nobody has done this. Because of an article she puts in her paper, he gets sponsor support and his prospects are increasing, so he has to fly wheter he likes it or not.
