"Richetou" has returned to his native village after years of working awy. He rebuilds his life somewhat alond the lines of his ancestors and tries to revitalize the area which was abandoned when, around the fifties, the peolpe left the mountains to seek the work in the town or abroad. As an act of faith towards the mountains and his culture "Richetou" starts speaking old Provencal again, the ancient language spoken from the Alps to the Pyrenees.
