A television report denouncing the consequences of the excessive exploitation of the alpine territory with the expansion of mass winter sports. Examples are taken from Oberstdorf in Allgaeu (Germany) and Merano 2000 in the Sotuh Tyrol to support the argument that the natural environment is damaged especially when the ground is disturbed and impoverished by digging and deforestation in order to open more and more new pistes.
