Face to face is a fiction documentary that portrays the life of a world champion of telemark in the daus before the competition that will reconfirm his title. Morten Sheen has already won everything in his career and has matured a deep aversion for the logic of the "white circus", the world of high level competition where the inextricable combination of interests forces the athlete to win always and whatever happens. The champion is faced with his solitude and a personal crisis that he can only overcome by driving himself on and getting rid of his fears. The film also records a unique feat: the first snow surf descent of the Couloir Couturier all'Auguille Verte in the Mount Blanc range by Denis Bertand. This is the most difficult descent that has ever been made with equipment of this kind.
